BOUTIQUE ACCOMODATION SITUATED IN THE GROUNDS OF BRISTOL ZOO GARDENS

 

Tucked away in 12 acres of beautiful botanical gardens is the Zoo’s best kept secret – The Lodge; a beautifully refurbished former keeper’s house, combining the perfect blend of fascinating history and modern luxury.

THE APARTMENT

Accommodation compromises of two safari-themed double bedrooms, a spacious dining room, living room, private terrace with views of Bristol Zoo’s award-winning gardens and an additional room with a sofa bed upon request.

Please note that a minimum of one adult is required to lodge for every two children.

ARRIVAL & CHECKOUT

When arriving at the Zoo, please make your way to the North Car Park, where our team will be notified of your arrival. If there are no parking attendants on site at the time of your arrival, please park your car and make your way to the Zoo’s main entrance. Parking for The Lodge guests is free of change.

 

You will be able to check into The Lodge from 3pm, however guests are more than welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy walking around the Zoo prior to check-in.

 

Checkout is at 11am, after which guests can delight in the Zoo grounds for the remainder of the day or make the most of complimentary entry to our sister attraction, Wild Place Project.

GETTING HERE

Travel by car

 

Please make your way to the North Car Park where you will be welcomed with complimentary car parking.

 

At junction 18 of the M5, exit toward A4/A403/Bristol/Avonmouth/Docks. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Portway/A4 heading to City Centre/Bristol/A38. Sharp left onto Portway/A4176 (Bridge Valley Road) – Please note that Bridge Valley Road will be closed on Sunday 16 June, please use alternate directions below on this day. Continue to follow A4176. Bristol Zoo is located on your right hand side at the top of Bridge Valley Road.

Travel by train

 

There’s a local train service to Clifton Down Station (a ten-minute walk to the Zoo). Or, from Bristol Temple Meads Station, take the number 8 bus service to the Zoo’s main entrance.
